What is RoHS certification？

RoHS is an acronym for the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive.

RoHS lists a total of six hazardous substances, including: Lead Pb, Cadmium Cd, Mercury Hg, Hexavalent Chromium Cr6+, Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers PBDE, Polybrominated Biphenyls PBB.

RoHS was implemented in the European Union on 1 July 2006, and electrical and electronic products that use or contain heavy metals and flame retardants such as PBDE and PBB are not allowed to enter the EU market.

RoHS是《电气、电子设备中限制使用某些有害物质指令》的英文缩写。
